"We thoroughly enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing time in the cottage. Weather was just getting cold enough to have a couple of cosy fires! Would definitely recommend Fountains Abbey and Deer Park. Plenty of scenic rambles within the Nidderdale area, so no need to travel too far."

"Just a note to say thankyou and how much we all enjoyed our stay at Alma Cottage last week. Everyone commented on how welcoming the cottage was - as if we'd walked into someone's home to stay, no 'artificial stuffiness' you sometimes get with holiday accommodation. The villagers were also outstanding in their friendliness and approachability - we particularly enjoyed the quiz night in the Henry Jenkins pub - I must estimate that everyone spoke to us and took an interest... I'm sure I will be in touch again and will certainly recommend to friends and family."
